23/04/18 Consider different materials and methods of covering the face for the Barbican shoot, experiment with different techniques colour and lighting conditions around school in anticipation of the shoot. the walkway the boiler room beind buildings and oth isolated landscapes. Experiment with your composistions crops and depth of feild and look at the film produced by Lionel Marsden http://lionelmarsdenphotography.weebly.com/unit-4-exam.html
16/03.2018 Finish editing all the photos from the shoot Take the fabric into public. Surreal v busy look at: http://lionelmarsdenphotography.weebly.com/unit-4-exam.html and the video https://vimeo.com/157723344
20/12/17 Consider the idea of developing the pantone project you need to capture a variety of ages and you need to have a large number of portraits. These could then be placed into a map or simple alongside each other. Consider how you want them to be viewed inside out on the streets pasted on walls. Do you also want to consider creating pantone colour cards for people to match to their skin. A;lso consider setting up backdrop in sw foyer and phtoograph the different people.
12/12 .A huge amount of research but there needs to be far more sets of images. When you photograph a subject, you must make sure that you photograph in different ways exploring depth of filed, angle, subject looking at the camera or not, own surroundings, something more set up. Exploit every situation.
13/11/17 powell a breadth of research and personal reflection that is fascinating however, this development is not always mirrored in your practical. I am concerned that you have a heading that says 'final piece'. I presume and hope this means developing your preferred experiemENT to date through several stages?
8/11/17 Upload videos to the weebly photograph a variety of ages in your first immigration section at present apart from the teacher they are all your age. This section would be dramatically improved if you added more of a variety of ages. Also focus on building up a collection of stories to go alongside the pictures.
TYPOLOGY of people taken in different areas of London on a white background.

30/10/17 Powell It's not a problem that you have re-used work form year 12 however, I think that the protest pics should go earlier. (see red comments)
6/10/17 Focus on first generation IMMIGRANTS that have come to England find out their stories and why they have come to the country consider a gaisnt a white background to draw the focus onto the person being photographed.
19/04/17 Return to speakers corner with the aim of capturing more of the location. Film people speaking and all the general details of the enviroNment. Try and take a white piece of card that you can put behind the speakers to take a detailed portrait of the speaker. Record what they are saying with the possible option of making a film about the place that will have images and speaking put into it. Find artists that have looked at the corner and put them into your weebly both stills and film (vimeo movies). CONSIDER OTHER IDEA OF HAVING PORTRAITS WITH INTERACTIVE RECORDINGS OF THEIR SERMONS / PREACHES.
01/01/2017 like the direction your work has been taking I have listed below some possible developments I hope they are useful let me know what you think
1) Create a series of Lenticulars ( A lenticular is an image that appears differently depending on how you look at it. Lenticular's usually require a special plastic sheet consisting of many tiny convex lenses, but you can make a simple one with just two photos and some paper) that show different sides to a person depending what angle you look at the face. Look at the work of Derrick Santini and other artists that create lenticulars. I have also given the link to past students that have looked at lenticulars
2) Look at creating multiple exposure giffs that have different portraits layered on top of each other look at former students work below that have done something similar
http://alicemaklan.weebly.com/unit-2.html
3) Below is a another past student that has looked at distortion of the face
15/12/2016 switch strand 2 and 3 around use the layer mask technique to develop the portraits stronger connections between the way in which an image is composed layer portarits to expose specific anatommy to do with mental health issues
Consider different representations of mental ilness you could crreate a sereis of 3d portraist that are blured until the 3d glasses are put on. consider double exposure that can then be turned into a 3d portrait in photoshop , 9/11/16 Statistic of mental ilness look at the online statistics and look at ways in which you could posible create representations of these stats.Look at how you can represent your ideas for example people missing work this could be represented by the ideas below, people held back not going when all others around them are getting on with their lives
Look at the work of Joe Beedle and his city work think about the locations that you would use http://jbeedle.weebly.com/unit-4.html
